What is a career assessment?

 

A career assessment is a battery of toolsused to determine a person’s traits, preferences, abilities and values and the careers that are most suited to these. The career assessment procedure comprises the following:

 

(1) an hour interview

(2) completion of a battery of questionnaires

(3) a one hour feedback session with report

 

A career assessment is usually recommended when a person is unsure what to study when leaving school or when a person feels they have taken the wrong career or study path and they want to explore other options.
